The Chatham County Democratic Party is planning now to elect Democrats in the 2015 municipal elections to lead on the issues we care about. We’ll build on our successes to achieve critical victories in 2016. We intend to win seats at every level in the next two years. Are you with us in this effort? Your involvement is key!
Join your Chatham Democratic neighbors to reconnect and get energized for the push to win at the 2015 Unity Breakfast!
The party has a critical role in activating our base. We need to ensure that voters not only understand the importance of this mid-term election but that they also channel their anger and frustration at what has been done to our county and state by supporting our Democratic candidates and voting. Our efforts help all of our Democratic candidates.

Our guest speaker will be our Senator Valerie Foushee, who first joined the legislature after her 2012 House campaign in District 50. Representing Orange and Durham counties, Foushee built relationships in her first term and passed several local bills. She moved up to the Senate following Senator Ellie Kinnaird's resignation. Senator Foushee defends women’s rights, public education, equal protection and protection of our environment.
The winner of the 2015 vacation raffle will be announced at the Unity Breakfast. – It’s not too late to buy a raffle ticket – they are available online too.
See you on the 12th!
