Every day the news gets more disturbing. Don’t be distracted! Join the Chatham County’s Democratic Party preparations for the 2018 election. We will be prepared for the results of redistricting, possible amendments to the state constitution, and electing a democrat to the 6th Congressional seat.
In addition to being a wonderful gathering of friends and supporters of the Chatham County Democratic Party, the Unity Breakfast is one of our fundraisers that provides financial resources to win elections.
Join us for this inspiring event on Saturday, September 16, 2017.
This year our keynote speaker is Chris Fitzsimon, the Founder and Director of NC Policy Watch – a progressive public policy think tank that is a special project of the N.C. Justice Center. Fitzsimon writes the daily Fitzsimon File, delivers a daily radio commentary that is broadcast statewide on the North Carolina News Network, and hosts News and Views, a weekly radio news magazine that also airs on the network stations. He is recognized as North Carolina’s leading progressive media personality. Chris is a veteran journalist and nonprofit leader whose presentations are always stimulating. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear his insights into the current political climate.
Our venue is Chatham’s new Agriculture & Conference Center. Doors open at 9 am. Mingle with other guests and enjoy breakfast from the buffet. Our program will begin at 10 am.
