Candidate for Lt. Governor LINDA COLEMAN
Linda Coleman is our highly qualified candidate for Lt. Governor. Many Chatham Democrats had the pleasure of hearing Candidate Coleman at our 2016 Fleet Reddish dinner in April and you may view our video of her speech. Originally from Greenville, NC, and attended NC A&T State University before obtaining her master degree in public administration from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a mother of two and a spokesperson for middle class families, hoping to take a different approach to governing into Raleigh.
Coleman ran a very competitive race for Lt. Governor in 2012, and is running again to bring representation for the middle class in a Republican-dominated state government. Her values in her own words are simple, "All my life, I’ve fought for the values and dignity of North Carolina’s hardworking families. Whether as a state legislator when I championed women’s access to life-saving preventative care services or when as Chair of the Wake County Board of Commissioners I fought to ensure our classrooms had the resources necessary to teach our state’s next generation." Linda believes what all of us do, that to build a strong economy in North Carolina we must provide opportunity to all of our citizens, not just the wealthy few.
Vote for Linda Coleman and the rest of the Democrats on the Blue Ballot in November, and vote for leadership that provides for a strong middle class and represents the needs of hardworking families.
